Hi,
I have a weird bug here, krunner doesn't do anything when I type 'kdf'. Kdf is installed and i can launch it from a terminal. Krunenr works fine with any other application, event with 3 letters one like vlc. thanks |

Do you have the "Command" runner enabled? ( KRunner > Configure ( Wrench icon ) )

Yes of course, no command would run without it anyway.

Do you have any special setting of $PATH that would make a terminal able to find "kdf" or is it installed in a standard location? ( ie. /usr/bin )

Could anyone install it and tell me if it works on their machine?

Works for me... You could also putting in "kdiskfree" so that KRunner would match it by name and see if it launches.

Kinda both really...I never get the "shortcut" with the icon, name and description in the dialog. I do, however, get a "Run kdf" option that works in launching the program.

kdiskfree works fine.
Am just gonna let it go it's not very important, but you have to admit it's a really weird bug. |

Assuming "which kdf" finds the application, and other 3 lettered applications are found by the "Run Command" runner, please report this at bugs.kde.org.

If I disable "command line" it doesn't work for me, either. But I am not sure this is really a bug, it seems to be called kdiskfree on my system not kdf.

Me too. But it's still an odd choice because there is no usr/bin/kdiskfree no, only /usr/bin/kdf |

The binary is definitely called kdf (try running "which kdf"). Trust me, no one would bother renaming poor old kdf ![]()

I know, but the application description in the .desktop file is kdiskfree, and that is what krunner uses.
