Backing up "places" as seen in Dolphin Places Docker?

Kubuntiac Registered Member Posts 786 Karma 2	Backing up "places" as seen in Dolphin Places Docker? Sun Nov 08, 2009 3:50 pm Anyone know how to back up kde's "places" that you see in the left column of Dolphin? I have a bunch of ftp locations and folders I use frequently that are a hassle to refind and recreate each time. Thanks!

Sun Nov 08, 2009 5:46 pm I think this file contains the information about places: ~/.kde4/share/apps/kfileplaces/bookmarks.xml Just copy the file to a secure place and if there's a problem move it back (but there are more places than only Dolphin's in this file)
