is there a way to remove the 'recently used' tab from the menu? i don't use it and i'd rather not have it there.
if there isn't a way, is there at least a way to prevent kde from keeping track of the files and programs i've opened? thanks! |

To prevent it keeping track:

that looks like it just changes the permissions. i'm guessing there's no option in kde to turn off tracking.
another question. is it possible to remove the 'hibernate (suspend to disk)' option from the menu? or better, to disable it completely? thanks! |

Unfortunately I do not think that is possible from KDE's side. If you can convince HAL that your system isn't capable of suspend to disk however, then KDE will automatically hide it.
