In KDE 3.x I was able to middle-click on a minimized program on the taskbar and then KDE would cycle the all the programs which are grouped in this program icon.
I might be stupid, but this is the second night I spent more than one hour googling how to configure the mouse buttons, but to no avail. I even haven't found out how to configure the mouse buttons, task bar or (preferable) the combination of the two. I have right clicked on the task bar, and choose "configure Task Manager", but that did not show the settings mentioned. Please, help me. How do I configure my taskbar and/or how do I define middle mouse button action? If you tell me, please tell me which windows to open, where to to click. I seem to be pretty much lost in KDE4. I am not scared of editing a text file if I can solve it that way. Or are the buttons not configurable at all, or not in combination with the taskbar. Thanks for any answer. jlinkels |

This is not possible with the default task manager. Smooth Tasks lets you configure the middle button, but it doesn't seem to have the action (cycle all programs) you ask for. You can ask the author if he could add it to Smooth Tasks.

That is too bad, thanks anyway for your answer.
Maybe it is a bad habit of mine to have 20+ windows open on a desktop, but especially with PDF documents, OpenOffice documents and Konsole windows it happens often that I have 4-3 windows open per application. Is there any other way to cycle thru the windows of a single application? jlinkels |
