I remember (or so I think) a time where hovering over Trash icon would make a side bar pop up, much like with plasmoids, which let me increase and rotate the icon.
Now, in KDE 4.3.3, when I move my mouse over Trash, I see its contents. I'd like to be able to make a Firefox icon on my desktop bigger, because that's a program I use most. When I hover it, I only see a tooltip over it with Firefox icon and "Firefox" PS.: Contents of /home/warnec/Desktop/Firefox.desktop file:

You are using the Folder View style of desktop, which does not support this. You would need to add the application launcher by dragging and dropping it onto an empty portion of the desktop.
