FYI:
KDE 4.3, konqueror crashed, which was not a big deal, did the whole bug report, yada, yada, yada.
konqueror was supposed to 'restart', but didn't.
There was an app icon in taskbar (as if there was an instance of konqueror minimized), but i could not restore it nor was it listed in alt+tab task list.
I started konqueror again, app launch and was asked to restore session. it started loading all the instances of konq that i had running including the one that crashed. close the others as They were still running and i didn't need or want duplicates.
Any ways, the 'minimized' iconic konqueror app is Still in my taskbar.

This was likely caused by the "restarted" process becoming frozen for some reason. If you close all current Konqueror windows you have open, and execute the following command it should clear itself: "killall -9 konqueror"
