how to manually start screensaver

Sat Dec 05, 2009 1:31 am
is there a command I can use to manually start the screen saver? I assume it'd be what is used in systemsettings when testing the screensaver.

thanks,

small problem - though it does initiate the screen saver the screen flickers unlike when normally initiated or using the test button.

That should not occur, it must be conflicting somehow with the terminal you are using.
