Is it possible to completely disable kio_thumbnail? It in combination with dolphin is always blocking eject operations.

I've tried turning off previews by unchecking everything under dolphin's preferences, but it is still trying to get thumbnails. I'm so annoyed with it that I don't want it to even look for thumbnails.

I googled around and haven't found any real answer to this problem.

If you have tooltips enabled I suggest disabling them.

I checked and tooltips aren't enabled. I did notice the information panel was on, so I turned that off as well, hopefully that's all I need. It's annoying having to drop to the shell to kill a process to eject my thumb drive!
