I'm a new KDE user. I have an external USB drive which is always on and plugged in to my computer. I want KDE to automatically mount it on boot.
Is there a simple way to do this? I currently have to mount it manually every time by opening it with dolphin file manager. Thanks in advance! |

In KDE 4.4 that can be specified in the system-settings program. If you're using an earlier version, you can replace the device-notifier with the device manager. Check it out here http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/De ... ent=106051 . I don't know if it's been packaged for Kubuntu though.
Another option is to add your external drive into /etc/fstab.
