The note in the last section "Software Rasterizer" indicates that the needed kernel components for the nouveau driver are not active on your computer. Log files such as /var/log/Xorg.0.log should contain information on why it hasn't been loaded. "dmesg" may also contain helpful information.

You shouldn't do, although you may need to restart to allow for the updated Kernel components to be loaded.

well i can sorta say im a noob iv been playin around with linux for some years i even bought my first suse about 6 years ago but went back to windows for difrent reasons. now after reinstalling window countless times iv got to the point that i hate windows long story short im back and for good.this was the first time i can say linux out of the box evey thing worked
had to install a few codec at first but alls well . i was in here lookin at a problem i had with the cube could not get it to work .after i sat here and thought to my self a cube has to have 4 sides all i had was one desk top that was the problem alls well .thought mabe this can help some one else with
