Hi,
I haven't used KDE 4.x in over a year. I would like to get back to it, but wanted to check if a critical feature (for me) has been re-implemented? KDE 3.5 had a bookmark applet for the panel and via right-click on the desktop. Is this in 4.x now? Also, does dolphin support bookmarks? Thanks, kilolima |

While it doesn't appear that a bookmark applet directly exists, the Application Launcher Menu does support showing bookmarks, so it would just be a case of disabling everything except that.

Sort of. An "unofficial" one exists for the panel. It is still in development, and I can't say I remember exactly how the 3.5 one worked so it may not suit your purposes. Still, check http://frinring.wordpress.com/2009/12/1 ... nu-widget/

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to have to try that applet... or write one myself!
One other question : is it possible to edit the right-click/middle-click desktop menus? |

You can, in 4.4, decide what action the clicks do. I.e. I have right-click set up to open up a menu of my installed programs and the scroll-wheel brings up a list of my favourite apps (3rd party plugin found on kde-look.org).
