How to prevent screensaver starting on some program run

For example. I use SMPlayer. Screensaver starts very often and I am to move mouse sometimes to prevent it from starting.

I have not fount some setting to disable screensaver on playing some video or on some windows open. SMPlayer has option "disable screensaver", which worked well on KDE 4.3. And now, on KDE 4.4 rc2 this option does not work.

Install the battery widget - even if you are using a workstation. A left-click on the battery allows you to change power-saving profile, and Presentation will disable your screensaver until you change the profile again.

Yes, I know about this ability. But some special window property, preventing screensaver, would take me less actions :)
