System Tray consumes a lot of CPU?

Fri Feb 12, 2010 2:08 am
Hi guyz....first of all, my english is bad, and im not sure how to explain my problem correctly.

but here goes...

Im using a freshly installed KDE 4.4 on arch linux. Ive noticed some strange behaviours.

When i open up system tray (to show the hidden icons), and then i close it again (hiding the hidden icons), at this moment, X consumes a lot of CPU.

But, when i open it again, the CPU consumption goes down..to a normal level.

When i close it again, X consumes a lot of CPU again.

im not sure why, does anybody has a clue?
