I have noticed that using the preview player in the information panel for audio in Dolphin works when used directly from the containing folder, but doesn't work for search results (nepomuksearch:/.............).

Using 4.4. release.

Is that expected behaviour or a known issue?

This is likely a bug in the Dolphin sound previewer or the Nepomuk Search KIO slave. Please file a bug report.
