Hi

I use Kubuntu 9.10.

Yesterday, I added a PPA source to get the new KDE packages:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu karmic main

Then I upgraded KDE, rebooted, and logged in to KDE.

Since that, I have had a wierd problem with my monospaced fonts. I usually use Inconsolata as my primary mono space font in Konsole, etc. But now it looks "broken". I have a screenshot here:

Maybe the problem is DPI related? I think I read somewhere, that one of the things KDE team has been working on is fonts/DPI.

I really hope you can help, as I am very much dependent on using Konsole.

Regards,
Thomas

If you still see the same effect under a new user, please file a bug report at bugs.kde.org as this is a regression.
