for the past week, notifications have been popping up like they used to in 3.5 - a disassociated rectangle somewhere at the top of the screen. I am running Version 4.4.65 (KDE 4.4.65 (KDE 4.5 >= 20100224)) "release 1".

Is anybody else seeing this? or did i mess up something?

I noticed this also. No idea why it was done, but it is the work of the Plasma team none the less.

I dont know if this is by design - but i found a notification plasmoid. When i add that to the panel, notifications show up the kde4 way.
