I upgraded to KDE 4.4 and even though it looks nice and is much snappier there are issues. One of them I have is personal preference. I like the titlebar of the new windows but I don't like the fact that it makes the windows look washed out. Does anyone know how to put the stripped titlebar back while keeping the new style titlebar buttons?

Unfortunately I don't, but you can get this look for the active window instead:



(Personally I'm glad that the stripes are gone, since I thought that they were awful . Well, it's all just a matter of taste).
