KDE dolphin disk property view

Sun Mar 28, 2010 2:07 pm
Dear all,
I'm running KDE on Linux Slackware and trying to figure out how to make Dolphin to display disk properties like windows explorer does that is showing which partition that has which file also an available disk space in each partition. Is this a legitimate question? I'm asking this because I'm new in Linux and KDE.

Regards,

To show the partition information for the current partition, click the settings menu, configure dolphin, general, status bar, and check "show space information". If you want to see a list of partitions with available space, you will need to open konqueror and type in "sysinfo:" (no quotes) or open kinfocenter.
