Dear all,
how can I configure the size of recycle bin? Last time when I try to put a large file, like 900 mb, it complained that the bin was full. regards, ethereal1m |

Open dolphin, click the settings menu then "configure dolphin", then click the "trash" icon on the left. You should be able to set it individually for different devices as well.

Apart from what BlackCat said, you can also configure Dolphin to "Show Delete command" (General, Context Menu in the settings). Be careful though since it bypasses the trashcan completely and if you use it on the wrong file(s) there's no easy way of getting the file(s) back.

You can also just hit "shift+delete" to accomplish the same thing.

Inside "Dolphin Preference", I only find "startup", "view modes", and "general", it doesn't contain "trash". There's a trash icon lies under "Places". Is this the one that you meant? I'm not sure how can I view the size of the trash bin from this point though. |

Which version of KDE? In 4.4, you should have: Startup View modes Navigation Services Trash General You can also access the trash-settings if you put the trashcan widget on the desktop.
