Dear all,
when I loggin as a user, my sound device driver is not loaded. A window pops up saying:
Code: Select all
KDE detected that one or more internal sound device were removed

Is this from Linux or KDE? How can I fix this?

This is a message from KDE informing you that it can no longer detect the presence of a previously available internal sound card.

Please ensure that the needed ALSA modules are loaded, or that your sound server is ready for use before starting KDE.

This problem doesn't happen when I login to KDE as root. Seem that the user account doesn't read the configuration file correctly. Could you tell me how to make sure that the account reads the configuration correctly?

thanks

Try adding yourself to the "audio" group and see if that fixes it.
