folder view panel form factor

hi!

i want to make a panel on the right of my screen that has a folderview inside, but rather than having a symbol I want it to same as wehn I have on the desktop (icons or list)

how is this possible?

Folder view is a widget and so, AFAIK, cannot be installed in the Panel.
