Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to set up more than one keyboard shortcut to launch klauncher? I'd like to have both the standard run command (alt+f2) plus one other shortcut (super + space) open a klauncher dialog. In the global keyboard shortcuts section, however, it is only possibly to associate one sequence with the command. Any ideas? Thanks! Keith |

With klauncher, I assume that you mean KRunner? Or do you use KDE3?
In KDE3, I think it's possible to set two global shortcuts in the shortcut dialog (in KControl). In 4.x, System Settings -> Input Actions -> Edit -> New -> Global Shortcut -> D-Bus command -> [Give name] -> Trigger -> [Give trigger] -> Action: Remove application: org.kde.krunner Remote Object: /MainApplication Function: org.kde.krunner.App.display

Hi Hans,
Oops! You are right: I did mean krunner, not klauncher. Thanks for the solution. That works really well! The only thing missing now is the ability to use the same key sequence to hide krunner if it is already visible (i.e. something like "org.kde.krunner.App.toggle"). Appreciate the help. Best, Keith |
