icons in taskbar - how to change

Sat May 01, 2010 10:53 pm
Specifically it's the Opera icon that bothers me. It is displayed quite large on the button but it is clearly a very low-res image that has been scaled up. It looks awful compared to the lovely slick scalable graphics elsewhere on the desktop.

So where is it getting this icon from, and how can I change it?

Thanks in advance

spoov

NB This behaviour is the same with the default taskbar and smooth-tasks.

I think you should post this on the Opera Linux forum and if I recall (big if) its embedded in the software so it's not changeable. I'm gonna guess you're not running the current beta rc (yea only Opera would have a beta rc) which has a better icon. Actual beta should be release real soon (next week?).

O right, yeah i am running the current release. I will probly wait then until the new release to see if the 'problem' is still there.

Cheers
