hello ppl. there's a bug in latest kde4 that makes me nervous. While i drag a folder or a file within dolphin or folderview widget the mouse cursor changes to "KDE Classic". It appears with every mouse cursor theme i try even with default ones.
/home/off220/.Xdefaults:1: warning: End of input with no newline, supplemented newline Xcursor.theme: Chameleon-White-Small-0.5 [off220@arch-linux ~]$ ls -l ~/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc -rw------- 1 off220 off220 278 Май 5 21:46 /home/off220/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc [off220@arch-linux ~]$ grep "cursorTheme" ~/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc cursorTheme=Chameleon-White-Small-0.5 anybody suffering from this bug too? |

This is a issue which should be corrected by Qt 4.7.

when will qt4.7 be included in kde compilation? |

KDE 4.6 at the earliest will be able to depend upon Qt 4.7.

You are removing KDE because of a cursor change bug when dragging files or folders? Seriously?
Oh, and, by the way, not depending on Qt 4.7 until 4.6 (which is something that hasn't actually been decided yet, there is a thread on kde-core-devel) does not stop Arch and other distributions from providing Qt 4.7. |

it's all about UI..When i switch on my computer guess what I see? I see that even the cursor is not stable, not speaking of nepomuks and akonadis..

@off220: The issue likely was that the cursor handling in Qt was written at a time when issues in X meant that full support was not possible.
