can anyone help me please. i can't walk through application with my remote control. i tried everything possible irxevent sending a dbus signal and kdelirc nothing worked.

i'm really confused why doesn't the kwin dbus method "org.kde.KWin.circulateDesktopApplications" works
while the other methods for changing desktop like "org.kde.KWin.nextDesktop" ... work !!

i use this command "dbus-send --print-reply --dest=org.kde.kwin /KWin org.kde.KWin.nextDesktop"
with irexec and it's working perfectly
but this one "dbus-send --print-reply --dest=org.kde.kwin /KWin org.kde.KWin.circulateDesktopApplications" does nothing.

i also tried using alt-tab and alt-f1 with irxevent. i don't know what i'm missing. if anyone has any ideas how i can control kwin with my remote control please help.

also does anyone know about a dbus method to start the K-menu simulating the pressing of alt-f1.

It appears that the D-Bus method "circulateDesktopApplications" doesn't do anything at this time... I would recommend filing a bug report at bugs.kde.org.
