No CPU frequency scaling options

Sun May 16, 2010 8:39 pm
KDE 4.4 power management section reports no CPU frequency scaling capability even though my CPU does support this feature. What could be the problem? I'm running up to date Debian unstable.

Please check with your HAL installation, to ensure that it is able to set the appropriate CPU governor.

Hm, restarting hald has fixed the problem. Seems like a bug on Debian side.
