I have been testing:
4.4.80 (KDE 4.4.80 (KDE 4.5 Beta1) and qt4.7 on kubuntu 10.04 for a few days and would like to congratulate the devs. fast, snappy and responsive ![]() There are a few wrinkles on my rig though: Pentium IV 2.3 Mhz 1.5 gig Ram ATI Radeon 9250 pro - Klipper is persistent when opened. I have to click on the klipper widget to get it to close. I useed to be able to to just click on the desktop. - network widget in the sys tray shows "not connected" resp. is blank and "unmanaged" with mouseover. - quick access widget crashes plasma. Otherwise no showstoppers (yet) ![]() |

I see the same persistence in device-notifier (4.4.80) - is this also fixed in the next update?
The network widget in the systray is a not-easily-understood icon - I've discussed this with developers, and it's being considered - but on mouse-over it shows clearly that I have a cabled connection, and the text shows Connected. This is Fedora 13.

Glad to be in such illustrious company ![]() I used: ppa:kubuntu-ppa/experimental to upgrade. Wonder .81 will trickle down. |

Yes, same problem here. Somehow a major screwup first fixing a bug, then breaking it again before the final release. ![]() However, you can avoid it by right-clicking on the klipper icon instead of left-clicking to open the menu. |
