How can I force position of a application icon in system tray.
Its like I always want my volume control icon to be on the extreme left of all the system tray icons.

I am using KDE 4.4.4 on Arch64.

Correct, it is not possible

If you wish you can add is as an idea to the BrainStorm forum viewforum.php?f=83 which is "user-submitted ideas for KDE desktop and software".
