I have kde 4.3 installed on mandriva 64 bit distribution. I cannot figure out how to remove icons (and associated applications) from the quick launch area to the left of the pager, and how to add applications I want to add. Also, how do I go beyond the "bounds" of the quick launch area in case I want to add more icons (applications) than will fit to the left of the pager.

I'm trying everything here, and I just can't figure out how to move these things in and out.
