I notice that loading up the same site using Firefox, Chromium (stable) and Konqueror differ in that Konqueror has the highest cpu usage and Chromium and Firefox have about the same. However, one major difference between Chromium and Firefox (and Konqueror) is that Chromium has much lower cpu usage when scrolling a page. This becomes important when one is running off the battery. (I'm using the "--graphicssystem raster" option for Konqueror because it makes scrolling way smoother.) Any reason for this? Any way for developers to make Konqueror comparably lighter in this respect?
