With KDE 3.5, it was possible to right-click on the desktop and choose from ones Konqueror bookmarks, down a cascading menu. Is it possible to do this with KDE 4.4 in some way ?

Now it is necessary to open Konqueror first, then choose from the bookmarks, which is perfectly feasible of course but a bit inelegant.

Whilst currently not possible in Trunk, the infrastructure for adding this is present. I would recommend filing a feature request a bugs.kde.org, requesting a Mouse Action Plugin for this feature.

If you are capable of coding yourself (includes Javascript I think), you may wish to look at the KBookmark and Plasma documentation.

Could you please provide the bug-number?
