Adding to Actions menu

Wed Aug 11, 2010 9:52 pm
To be more specific of what I mean about Actions menu, if you right-click on a folder, below the Delete command theres a popout menu called Actions. Currently mine only has "Create file project with K3B" and "Open Terminal Here" but I'd like to add more functions such as "browse as root" or "sudo delete". How would I go about doing this?

settings -> configure dolphin -> services -> check additional ones and/or download others from the "download new services" button

you can also search on http://kde-apps.org/index.php?xcontentmode=287

I'm surprised it doesn't let you create your own commands, but oh well. I did manage to find exactly what I'm looking for but it says the install failed. What can I do about this?

If the "download new services" button failed I'd suggest dl'ing from http://kde-apps.org/index.php?xcontentmode=287 and doing a manual install

If you wish to create your own try this tutorial http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tut ... vice_Menus
