End KDE session on sleep

All -

I was wondering, is it possible to configure KDE to end my session when I choose the Leave -> sleep option from kickoff? Right now my session is being locked when I choose the sleep option.

It is not possible for KDE to both end your session and for the system to go to sleep. This is because the Desktop Manager ( the login screen, usually KDM or GDM ) does not have the capability to enact a Sleep or Suspend to Disk.
