Hi!

I'd like to use "qdbus" to identify open "KDE write daemon" window objects that are created as a result of "wall" messages, but I'm not sure how. Can anyone offer quick assistance? I'm on Mandriva 2010.

Thanks very much!

Are you referring to the notifications that are opened in Plasma's Notifications area?

I guess what I mean is, if you open an xterm and type "echo foo | wall", then a notification window pops up at the top of the screen with the contents of the wall. How do I make inquiries about that window via qdbus?

Ah. These windows are provided by KNotify. It is known as "org.kde.knotify" on dbus, and runs as the process "knotify4".
