Dear all,
what is the easiest way to flush trash bin (without enabling trash bin widget)? Best regards, ethereal1m |

You could write yourself a little bash script and cron it, if you want it done on a regular basis...

that is one way... any other way that doesn't require me to write something and do it manually instead of automatically, I don't feel comfortable to flush trash bin periodically and automatically?

In Dolphin, add trash:/ in the location field. Add the location to the "Places" side-panel. Whenever you want to empty the trash, right-click on the Trash in the side panel and select "Empty trash". Or right-click within the main Dolphin view whenever you are in the trash:/ location and do the same thing.

With the possibility that this has been introduced after 4.2.4.
Once you're in the trash (after entering the trash:/ in the location field and have hit return that is), then right-click in the main part of the dolphin window (the part where you see your files). Select "Add to places".
