Hey,

I'm using a desktop called Awesome but with all KDE apps like Klipboard, Kmix, Dolphin and others ...

What is the name of the program for KDE's battery indicator (formerly Power Devil) so that I can run it under Awesome desktop?

Thanks

Powerdevil is just the power management infrastructure (on top of Solid). If you mean the battery indicator, that is a Plasma widget and thus requires Plasma to run.

You can also run it in a separate window with plasma-windowed, for example
Code: Select all
plasma-windowed battery

Use
Code: Select all
plasmoidviewer --list

to view the name of all your installed plasmoids.

This app no longer seems to exist under Ubuntu. Any suggestions how to get it?

plasmoidviewer is a development tool, and is likely not in the default installation.
plasma-windowed is new to KDE 4.5, and may also need to be installed seperately.
