I get this "1 running job (0 seconds remaining)" everytime there is any notification.
Is there any way I can reset settings for this "Notification & Job". I dont want to reset all the settings of KDE by removing .kde4 folder.

I have tried restarting the plasma-desktop but no success.

You have this even after logging out and in again?

I've had "dead" notifications like this before, but restarting plasma-desktop always works for me.

First, quit plasma-desktop:
Code: Select all
kquitapp plasma-desktop

Then you can move/rename the files starting with "plasma" in ~/.kde4/share/config and finally start plasma-desktop again. This will reset all your plasma settings (except maybe activities).

Removing plasma-desktop-appletsrc did the job but I lost all my applet & widgets settings.
