Hi, I have a synaptics touchpad which should support multitouch. I tried to enable it via configuration tool in systemsettings however all multitouch options were disabled ("gray"). Some guy in opensuse forum (where I originally asked) suggested that this function might not be implemented in KDE yet. Is he right? Or is it a problem of my touchpad?

The Synaptics touchpad module isn't part of KDE itself as such... however it could be that the module believes your hardware doesn't support it ( or the driver itself doesn't, likely evdev is used )

Chmm, sorry, I didn't know that. Is there a place where could I ask about it? It would be great if someone could confirm that this configuration tool really works before I start looking somewhere else.

The panel you have is likely one of the following:

http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/sy ... ent=114270
http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/kc ... ent=113335

I suggest posting a comment there.

Thank you. According to the handbook, the disabled options mean that my touchpad doesn't support multitouch. So the problem might be in drivers or maybe my touchpad really doesn't support more than one finger :)
