Hi
I'm running Kubuntu Maverick Meerkat and whilst trying to get japanese input working (it still doesn't) I mistakenly made Japanese the system language in the locale settings. All the icons now have japanese descriptions associated with them despite changing the system language back to english UK and removing the japanese language from the locale tab. Typing locale in a console window gives :- LANG=en_GB.utf8 LANGUAGE=en_GB LC_CTYPE="en_GB.utf8" LC_NUMERIC="en_GB.utf8" LC_TIME="en_GB.utf8" LC_COLLATE="en_GB.utf8" LC_MONETARY="en_GB.utf8" LC_MESSAGES="en_GB.utf8" LC_PAPER="en_GB.utf8" LC_NAME="en_GB.utf8" LC_ADDRESS="en_GB.utf8" LC_TELEPHONE="en_GB.utf8" LC_MEASUREMENT="en_GB.utf8" LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_GB.utf8" LC_ALL= Any ideas as to what I've screwed up? |
