dax66 try renaming /home/XXXXX/.kde4/share/config/activitymanagerrc or test activities as a new user
Amarok same thing, try as new user or try renaming the script dir /home/XXXXX/.kde4/share/apps/amarok/scripts as this has been problematic for me in the past. |

![]() I've created a new user and Amarok till now didn't crash at all. But also I can see many other differences such as the "Add a Fancy Panel" one which was not present in the other account.. Now I must test it for a while but it seems fine...just ..I can't understand why this happens.

probably changes and new capabilities in KDE that are not being shown to the user because of the format of the existing config files or conflicts in them

So it seems it works quite well also if still exist some bug but I think it's normal in a beta version....
Amarok still crash sometimes and when it does it plasma get some problem (for example when Amarok crashes the command ALT+F2 doesn't work anymore and I need to refresh X). Moreover the "Download Cover" option doesn't work as well as the Cover manager (it's quite strange. Sometimes the context menu "Download Cover" appears and sometimes not ![]() I use activities quiet well and without problems. The rest of the programs appear working very well and without crashes. I love this new KDE version ![]() Tks to everybody and happy new year ![]()
