A] Hope I'm in the proper forum, sorry if not (I found Dolphin discussions in many places).
B] I searched a bit and didn't see anything existing.

Kubuntu 10.04 LTS for 64 bit, KDE 4.4.5, current on updates, Logitech Trackman wheel, and Dolphin, in split view mode, one view into one folder, the other view anywhere else I could think of.

I select multiple files and/or folders. I tried the plus sign addition method, I tried the drag and select method.

After selecting the files and folders, I click (and hold) on any one, drag and drop those into the other view. Release the mouse button. MOST of the time, the 'drag selection' mechanism is active after you release the mouse button, and it is actively selecting files and folders! Pressing escape SEEMS to defeat the drag selection, but only until you move the pointer again!

Anyone else, or just me?
Wondering if there might be a gesturing component in there somewhere, since the error is not EVERY time I drag and drop across views.

EDIT: the drag selection issue has not happened in the latest release of Dolphin!

I've seen this when dragging in other situations, but I assumed it was a problem with my mouse. I guess not. Can you file a bug at bugs.kde.org?
