Hello everyone,

I have missing icons on my system that were previously there with ubuntu LTS
10.04. Having compared with fellow users, they do not seem to be experiencing
this issue.

when downloading manually the oxygen-icons-theme package and installing i get
this error:

This bug is a very big annoyance in my opinion.. can anyone help solve this?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
It's there from fresh install... Bug 267118 in KDE bug tracker - Ubuntu Bug 714391

May I also add the fact that this issue does not occur with alternative icon themes or sets...

Are you using KDE or GNOME? In either case, does the file /usr/share/icons/oxygen/index.theme exist?
