off220 Registered Member Posts 41 Karma 0	Re: disable all tooltips Mon Mar 07, 2011 6:57 pm hovering almost any gui element (button, menu, etc) causes tooltip of this kind to appear. it doesn't really matter what is written e.g. here it's written here "import scheme from file"

Here are some you can hide: System Settings -> Workspace Appearance and Behavior -> Workspace Behavior -> Workspace -> uncheck "Show Informal Tips". System Settings -> Workspace Appearance and Behavior -> Workspace Appearance -> Window Decorations -> Configure Buttons... -> uncheck "Show window button tooltips". You can disable them in some applications. Problem solved?
