Greetings, colleagues.
On my system the input languages are switched by Ctrl+Shift. And ANY combination like Ctrl+Shift+... (like Ctrl+Shift+V or something else) fails to work since after Ctrl+Shift are pressed the language is switched. Maybe, there's some way to make KDE react on release of Ctrl+Shift keys, not on Ctrl+Shift pressing? Please, help. Best regards, Aleksey. OS: OpenSuse 11.4, KDE 4.6.0 |

Not sure if it's a bug or if it can be solved, but you can always change the shortcut to change the input language. System Settings -> (Hardware ->) Input Devices -> (Keyboard ->) Layouts -> Shortcuts for Switching Layout.

Thanks for reply.
Well, that's clear. And I changed my language switcher to CapsLock. However, if KDE is able to act only on hotkeys pressing, but not on hotkeys release, that's inconvenient feature ![]() |
