Hello,
I've a problem with automatic switching the power profile if I unplug the power supply. It is configuret in the system settings, that the power profile should switch from "performance" to "powersave" if the power supply is unpluged. Manually it works, automatically it does not work. Has anybody experience with this feature and can explain what is the triggering event that kde listen to switch the profiles. The plasmoid shows the right state of the power supply. My environment: KDE4.6.1 on Slackware-current Thank you. |

Do you have UPower installed? KDE 4.6.x and later use UPower to retrieve information about the current power status of the computer.

Thank you very much.
The upowerd deamon was not started because of a missing library (libusb). Now it works! Olaf |
