Hi,

when i start kaffeine with a file movie.avi, i find the following messages in the .xsession-errors:
Code: Select all
"KConfigIni: In file /home/aroth/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments/movie.avi.desktop.lock.sj5200, line 1: " Invalid entry (missing '=')
"KConfigIni: In file /home/aroth/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments/movie.avi.desktop.lock.sj5200, line 2: " Invalid entry (missing '=')
"KConfigIni: In file /home/aroth/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments/movie.avi.desktop.lock.sj5200, line 3: " Invalid entry (missing '=')

Any ideas why?

With all applications which access movie.avi closed, please try removing the file /home/aroth/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments/movie.avi.desktop.lock.sj5200. It is simply a lock file, and is not critical to operation of any applications.

when i get this error message the lock file is already gone. I just wonder if there's something wrong with my system or if this behavior is normal.
The error message suggest that this lock file is not only used as a simple lock file, but it also contains some information (the error messages complain about specific lines within the lock file). So how can i be that the newly created file cannot be read a moment later? It seems awkward to me?

Given that the file is quickly deleted, and seems to have no adverse affects upon Kaffeine, this message can probably be ignored safely. Not sure if it is worth a bug report at bugs.kde.org.
