Sat Apr 23, 2011 7:24 am
Hello everybody,

Finally I take the chance to register myself on the forum. My friend sibelle and I are facing strange problems with kdeinit4.

As soon we are login in, the icons are appearing and the desktop is ready the windows says that kdeinit4 has crash. Please have a look at the pastebin below

For the log of any related package, you can find them here

We have been looking for this problem for weeks now. No idea what's the problem.

We used gcc 4.6.0 glibc 2.13 libpng 1.5.1

Can you also pastebin the content of ~/.xsession-errors? Perhaps there's something broken that triggers that crash.

This is a known bug in QNTrack or NTrack. Please ensure your installations of NTrack and QNTrack are up to date.

Bonjour,

Merci pour la piste ntrack :-)

En fait ntrack était à jour , mais avec libnl 2.

J'ai downgradé libnl en version 1 et refait ntrack et tout est rentré dans l'ordre.

Merci encore de votre aide

Bonne journée

Please make sure that Network Management is reinstalled *after* kdelibs updates are installed.

It is not a joke. Due to various changes in NetworkManager, you need to install the more recent Network Management after kdelibs.
