I am a new KDE forum user and I dont` t know if there are yet a KDE 3.5.10 support and a correct local to post it. Then I tried to do a desktop icon using

right-click button on the desktop > Add folder >> xxx >>

Then it was made off, but when I changed icon kind there was a crash and all icons disappeared. I don` t get anything in desktop screen, but there is a perfect tool bar function. There are /home/user/Desktop ( icons.desktop ) content. What can I do?

If you are using 3.5.10, try restarting "kdesktop".
