Rotation and panel resizing

Sun May 08, 2011 2:41 pm
(Mint 10 KDE - 4.6)

Whenever I rotate the orientation of my screen, whether by KRandRtray or Plippo's touchrotate package via terminal, My program windows adjust, but my panel is still the length of the full screen in normal orientation. This wasn't the case in Kubuntu Lucid/KDE4.5.

I tried switching my panel alignment (R,L,Center), but even with the panel set to center and cut to half-size, the panel still extends way beyond the screen's edge when the screen is rotated. The system tray, clock, & show desktop app (which are all aligned on the far right for me) aren't visible when rotated. Problem exists with default task manager and smoothtasks alike.
