Hi,
I wasn't quite sure which section to post this in, sorry if its in the wrong place. After installing some gtk apps, the package gnome-icon theme got installed. This has caused firefox to have gtk icons, especially the back and forward arrows. This is odd, as oxygen is selected as the default icon set under kde's system settings. If I remove the gnome icon package, other gtk apps will go also (which I need!). Is there a way of keeping gnome-icon-theme installed, whilst still having normal (default) oxygen icons under Firefox. Thanks Joshun |

try adding the packages kcm-gtk and oxygen-gtk
then select oxygen in systemsettings -> application appearance -> gtk style and fonts -> oxygen-gtk see: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/?content=136216 |

Try checking the content of ~/.gtkrc-2.0
KDE Sysadmin

Thanks for the feedback,
I have installed those packages. As in screenshots below, oxygen is selected as the gtk theme, but firefox still has weird icons. .gtkrc-2.0-kde4 also is set to oxygen. It reads:

Thanks for the responses, I've managed to solve the problem from support in the kubuntu forums:
http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/index.php?topic=3117127.0 I knew it would be a simple fix! |
